Over the next several posts I will be pulling information from Mark Waltz and his book First Impressions: Creating WOW Experiences in Your Church,
Today's quotes:
"As our First Impressions Ministry creates experiences with guests that say, You matter to God-therefore you matter to us, our guests will be drawn to Jesus, and we will have served Him well."
"The customer only wants two things-show me you care about me personally, and tell me what you are going to do for me now. (help me please)"
One note from training on 2/27/11 - Please remind parents with children 3rd grade and younger that they have to register their children at either the kiosk on the 1st or 2nd floor before they go to class.

Emergency Training Notes
We had a good morning of training with the 1st week 1st Impressions Team yesterday. If you missed the training here are some highlights:
1) Always smile when you greet people.
2) Wear your name badge.
3) If you work at an info desk please escort new people to a class if needed and introduce them to the teacher or a student in the room.
4) As you travel throughout the building please pickup any trash you might see in the floor.
5) Please familarize yourself with the emergency portion of the training manual that is included in this blog. In the event of a fire, tornado, bomb threat or earthquake each 1st Impressions person has a specific responsibility for certain portions of the building. We have to make sure the building is vacated.
6) In the event of a fire or earthquake people should gather at Annex II when we vacate the main buildings.
7) In the event of a bomb threat. We should direct people to meet in the parking lot of Gladeville Elementary.
8) In the event of a Tornado Warning, we will gather everyone in the main corridor near the Outpour Cafe and the Fellowship Hall.
